Warranty Information

The BOP® Paint Protection warranty applies to the Paint Protection Film line of products (excluding accessories), which are used, transformed, and implemented in accordance with the requirements stated in the BOP technical data sheets and application guides.

This warranty applies exclusively after online registration on our website within 30 days following the purchase of a BOP® protection film.

This warranty starts from the purchase date of your BOP protection film (installer invoice as proof). This warranty exclusively covers the following defects: Yellowing, staining,cracking, blistering, and delaminating of the product.

The shelf life apply when stored upright in its original packaging in a dust-free environment at a temperature ranging from +15 °C to +25 °C (+59 °F to+77 °F) with relative humidity of 50 %. When original packaging is opened and the film is used the remaining film must be stored on its original core (do not cut the rolls into several lengths or widths, do not repackage the product);the roll must be closed immediately and properly (tape or roll-collars) after use in order to preserve all its qualities.

The lifespan and durability of the film depend on the type of substrate, substrate preparation, pollution, exposure conditions, and the frequency of cleaning.

• Non-compliance with BOP® guides or instructions.
• Does not extend coverage caused by misuse, accident, misapplication, normal wear and tear,or dents from road debris impact, collisions and/or intentional damage of any kind.
• Improper storage,installation, handling and/or use.
• Products installed with known or visible manufacturing defects at the time of installation. It is the obligation of the installer to examine the products prior to installation for any defect of the products.
• Minor conditions such as stains, and scratches.
• Any damage to the wrapped surface due to improper wash techniques, automatic car washes or incorrect wash tools.
• Does not warrant paint protection film installed on headlamps or windscreens and is not responsible for any resulting damage or fines. The installation by a private individual is excluded from this warranty.

Due to climatic effects the degradation of materials is a natural and unavoidable phenomenon. A modification of the transparency and brightness, as well as a slight peeling off at the edges and around the rivets are normal phenomenon which do not fall within the scope of this warranty.

Except where prohibited by law, BOP® and the installer/dealer of the product(s) shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the product(s) whether direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential, regardless of the legal theory asserted, including warranty, contract, negligence, or strict liability.

The warranty and remedies described above are the exclusive warranties available for the product(s). BOP® installers/dealers cannot modify or extend this limited warranty. BOP® will be solely responsible for determining the validity of all claims and reserves the right to deny claims that do not meet the above criteria. Replacement of the defective film is the exclusive remedy; liability does not extend to any other damages,incidental, consequential, or otherwise.

All BOP® products are subject to careful quality control throughout the manufacturing process and are warranted to be of merchantable quality and free from manufacturing defects when leaving the factory.Published information concerning all BOP products is based upon research which BOP believes to be reliable although such information does not constitute a warranty. Because of the variety of uses of BOP products and the continuing development of new applications, the purchaser should carefully consider the suitability and performance of the product for each intended use, and the purchaser shall assume all risks regarding such use.
